Making Deposits

This is part of making sure your checking account is always accurate. If you deposit checks as soon as you can, you will reduce your chances of becoming overdrawn. Plus, people get upset if you hold their check too long without cashing it! Keeping accurate deposit records is also important. If you can get a deposit book from your bank that keeps carbon copies for you, this will be much easier. Otherwise, find a way to keep a list of all checks that were included in each deposit.
