Submitting Award Forms
Before District Convention of each year, awards forms must be filled out so that your club can be evaluated on what it has done for the past year and be considered for awards. To be eligible for awards, Clubs must have submitted 75% of their Club reports on time.
Awards forms will be distributed to your Club. It is important that you look over these forms as soon as you receive them to know what is expected of your club and how to fulfill those expectations.
Here are some tips to help you fill out the awards:
1. Don’t procrastinate!!! It is very easy to get overwhelmed with all of the work that has to go into completing these forms, but if you work on them a little bit at a time, then it is very easy to manage.
2. Keep up with completed monthly report forms. These reports contain the necessary information on the Club Achievement and many other awards
3. Don’t be afraid to ask the other officers to help. Each club officer can write an essay nominating another club officer. This lightens the load for you significantly.
4. Also, you need to be aware of the international awards. Many of the District Award forms have the same format as their International Award counterpart. This makes it easier to submit forms for International Awards also.
